So i have level 5 on my champ ( yasuo ) and i just achieved an S- and an S+ on him. I went to hextech crafting so i could get mastery 6 on yasuo and it says 500 blue essense which i dont have, combine with a champ shard, which i dont have, and it says combine with champion permenant and i have yasuo permanent, if i combine my S- and my S+ with yasuo permanent, will i lose yasuo permenant?
Deep Terror Nami1 votesYes, if you use your Yasuo permanent it is destroyed. It has literally no other use, so just do it. If you need more Blue Essence in the future you can purchase champion shards for 1700 IP apiece.

Deep Terror Nami1 votesThey are random shards, but you can disenchant them for essence (it's unlikely you'll get exactly the one you need). Is there a particular reason you don't want to use your permanent? You don't lose the actual champion or anything.

Deep Terror Nami1 votesThe "permanent" doesn't represent that you own the champion, it's just like a shard; Normally when you combine 3 shards it creates a 'permanent' and it goes into your inventory as a champion, but if you already own the champion you just get a 'permanent' that sits there doing nothing (you'll always get a champion you don't own, unless you already own them all). When you combine your Mastery Tokens with a Champion 'permanent', the permanent is used up just like Essence or a Shard would be.
