Malzahar's voidlings

Hey, Malz Main here, I was wondering, is there anyway we could get back a little bit of power for Ad Malzahar? I mean, maybe it was too strong but I think that having more than one playstyle (that being his ap control mage one currently( is much more exciting for a game, same with other champions, such as on hit neeko, or Ad Kenny etc.. Again, maybe I'm just biased cause it's my fav character, but , is there really no way to give him a bit more ad oomph without busting the champ? : c
