"Carry harder" Carry even harder" "No carry 1v5 harder!" i just got out of a game like it, i "only" got 8-2-3, still a score you shouldn't lose with. Vlad top won lane over Nunu, but smiteless Fiora jungle fed 6 kills, went AFK and botlane (Vayne especially) went full feedermode vs a Jinx. I stalled that game while killing them at the very least 10 minutes, before they took baron and won, and ofc did most dmg. Even worse, the other day i had 26-8 as Syndra, with multiple triple and quadras, winning (or evening out) a lot of teamfights for my team. And yes i lost because teammates were simply bad.
Neither of us should lose LP for these games. We even have a grade system - why not use it?? In the Syndra game, i got S while team prob got Cs and Ds. Why not give me +25 LP instead of -15, and distribute the -40 LP to my team? It would reward u and encourage u to give your best every time. You could even start in the small numbers, by giving -7 LP instead of -15, and then -2 extra to feeding teammates. I think it would reduce flaming, because when u are 5-1 but your bot is feeding 15 kills total, many people start to flaming - and its often not totally unjustified (especially if it is like "plz stop fighting u are far behind"). I feel i could easily be couple of division higher with this system, as i feed in few games, and lose while i play well in far more games.
