It seems simple enough and It would be a nice quality of life update for solo que ranked games.

Is it because it would be difficult to monitor the voice chat for toxic players?

I loved having the voice chat for Xbox made playing the games so much more enjoyable, even SC2 has a in game voice chat

As if pinging "I NEED ASSISTANCE" 10 times at dragon wasnt enough, id have to deal with toxicness on the mic? It seems good on paper but in all honesty its league. that should say it all

Because voicechat brings nothing to non-pre-organized teams.

And the teams who wants to use voicechat can easily manage to set up something themselves.

Personally i hate voicechat, since i hate talking in the phone (with people i know in RL, which wouldn't compare to how bad i would hate it with strangers over the internet).

Too much liability? With all the bullying laws for one and would be much harder to sort through and report people if it wasn't chat based.

I hate in game chat. With past experiences involving this like Halo 4, it just creates a cesspool of toxic and stupid players who have the balls to talk big to a mic.

But if it has the option to allow you to choose and mute to the players you want to talk to, then it would make it a whole lot easier instead of hearing a group of 12 year olds complain and blame.

Because the only thing worse than reading someone telling you to murder yourself because you made a minor mistake in a meaningless (in the long run) video game - is hearing it said by a squeaky voiced 12 year old.

The teams that need it can find 3rd party programs to do it. I'm fine with it the way it is.
