My team always retreats when I gank. WHY!?

So im not the best jungler in the game. Far from it actually, but I understand the game and know what I'm supposed to do. Among other issues I'm having, one keeps rearing it's ugly head.

WHY THE HELL DOES MY TEAM PING ME FOR GANKS THEN LEAVE ME OUT TO DRY?

Is this a high elo thing? Once or twice id say its my fault but this happens every freaking time. Im a yi main (yes ik typical bronze jung pick) but I'm learning kayne as well. With kayn's E providing unique gank paths I use it to the fullest and more often than not in on a position to make the enemy regret their life choices. HOWEVER, no matter how good I execute said gank of how well i position myself my team either runs away, or refuses to engage all together, instead, standing in lane (missing cs) watching me die (i get tunnel vision when I set up a half decent gank. Don't judge me in working to fix that lol).

What I'm asking is, why is it that every time i set up a kill my laner goes "oh my jungler has arrived to kill the asshat that's giving me trouble. Look, he's going in. Seems like the perfect time to leave without telling him." why? Why do they all do this?

Depends. Why are they asking for your help? Are they low on health and mana? are they severely pushed in? are they horribly feeding? Most people in low elo try and leave the clear to the jungler, to hold lane before coming back.

Most of the time they wait for me to come (pinging every 5sec) and then abandon me on engage. Weather they take damage of not. I know not to eclectic anything if they low or oom but when BOTH bars are FULL, WHATS THE EXCUSE THEN?! (clearly frustrated)

if that's the case, then try dumbing it down for them. Make it absolutely clear that if they will only waste your time, you will no longer waste time in their lane. Or get them to understand that you will get them their lead.

because

#1 you didnt ping your approach or #2 they dont trust you or #3 they disconnected

if you want to be a successful jungler you need to just steal kills from lanes and clear camps. dont worry about anything else. if your ally complains about you stealing their kill just mute them and report them after the game. coming to a lane where the opponent is at half health might get your team a kill... or it might just waste 15 minutes and get you so so sooooo far behind. i only go to lane if i see an opponent i can kill for certain with 1 to 2 abilities.

So game play wise you are probably not going in at the correct moment. Most bronze Yis prefer going in after a trade has already happened. Your lanes are probably on the losing side of trade (why they are pinging help) but you are going in when

1)they are to weak

2)their cool downs are down and the enemies are not.

3)They want help reliving pressure not you attempting to kill. Laners some times just need to help wave clearing or breaking a freeze. They may just need to buy something.

Your team mates are not going to sacrifice themselves if they think it is a bad idea. Considering your playing in bronze allies are not going to naturally trust you to know what you are doing.

That's a fair assumption. Honestly i do a fairly good job watching the trades. I don't go on if my laner is to low to be of any use. Also, I should mention that I never, EVER, gank without pings. (that's how you feed) usually they are at full or 3/4 hp and the enemy is over extended and being too aggressive. By the time I get in the enemy is low and my team isn't but they just stand and watch. I totally get that being a bronze V means I'm less than trash but I refuse to believe i am the SOLE problem. I have done literally everything I can to improve my jungle game. Studied paths, match ups, counters, meta, ect. I've improved dramatically in those areas but even if I'm 2 lvls up it makes no difference, they ruin when they see me.

If the enemy has a giant minion wave, most laners don't want a gank, they want dive protection or freeze breaking.

did u ping them u were ganking?

Maybe they were low on health or there was a large minion wave.

One thing I hate is when I'm top and I have 20 minions coming to my turret and then the jungler wants to gank. Let me farm some and then we can blow his Flash.
