Banning declared champions in Normal games

I'm getting pretty fed up with people trolling and banning champions I have declared to play just for a laugh or to mess with another person. If the champ i wanted to play was banned by the opposing team so be it or if its a ranked game then whatever cause there is something at stake, but in a normal draft game it sucks that people are able to look at what champion you want to play and ban it just to be a dick. this should be changed. i dont play often but this in the past few days has kind of ruined my experience.

Let me share a secret technique with you Hover the champ you want to play during ban phase, then right before time runs out, switch and ban something else.

Don't call them trolls just because they banned who someone else wanted, especially if they explain themselves or why. It is a judgement call and the player with the ban has the right to make it. Not agreeing is totally okay but don't get negative or entertain any destructive emotions or "me against him" ideas, you are 1 team and the more harmonious you can be the better so keep positive. At the end of the day it is HIS ban and you should respect and encourage that. The ban is guaranteed, it takes priority over an iffy pick. And let's be honest, it's a bad habit to go into a game already knowing who you WILL play, it should be way more lucid, flexible and adaptive than that. If Riot wanted to pander to the people who said it is some trolly sin to ban your teammate's declared / hovered champ (Which they never did before, ever!) they have a responsibility to take the (Strategic and good) option away.

Had this happen last night. Got sup with the rest of the members belonging to the same team. they waited for me to declare a champion, then would ban it immediately. all four of them banned support characters. Luckily, they announced what they were doing in chat and I was able to trick them into banning mostly counters to the champ I wanted to play!
