Abyssphere2 votesGameplay > thematics. Silence works the same on everyone so it's understandable and so that random champions can't randomly ignore a form of crowd control that others have to worry about.
Just like Yasuo can't ult a Corki or Anivia whenever he sees them, even though they are objectively always airborne.
