I have almost an 80% winrate and I'm gaining less LP than I'm losing.
I literally gained 18LP my last win and lost 19LP my last loss. What is this? Does Riot expect me to play 1000 games to climb?
If I'm winning 80% of my games, why is it taking THIS long to climb?
AeroWaffle3 votesLooks like you're queuing a fair amount with a friend that's currently listed as unranked. That could be dropping the average mmr of the people you're fighting against which would diminish any reward you receive when winning and increase any lp loss when you lose.
But a 1 LP difference between win/loss is not unusual. Are you expecting to climb by showing a 50% win ratio?
fighter1 votesMy friend is gold so the MMR would be raised. I wouldn't say 6 out of 26 games is "a fair amount" lol. Also, the 18 LP gain was from a solo game.
It's not normal for your LP gain to be stuck at 18 with a high winrate....

Were you on a large loss streak at the end of last season? Not sure if it would have much affect on your mmr now but i think it somewhat transfers over
lil box1 votesThe season reset, meaning last season doesn't matter anymore. Even then I ended the preseason with a 55% wr. This season I have 73% wr and am only receiving 15lp per win and it's not moving up.
