What can be done about Annie?

Okay... sorry about that. Hear me out here: Tibbers needs some kind of a cast time. being able to drop an insta-stun nuke, at a pretty damn good range, with no warning or outplay potential is just ridiculous. Now, i know what you are going to say:

  • "If they give tibbers cast time, then she will just stun you then drop da bear." -Yes, exactly. The way i look at it, as a squishy carry it is your own damn fault if you get stunned by her w for being so close to her, her q (even if that range is absolutely stupid for a point and click ability) has a small window of cast time, and travel time that will let you flash or blink out of the way of the rest of her abilites. There is some counterplay there. Getting insta-gibbed by a bear out of fucking nowhere, has little to no counterplay.

  • "Just buy a qss/Banshees/zhonyas/abyssal."

    1. qss cant cleanse a one shot, even mediocre annie players can get three spells and an ignite off in less then a second.
    2. Being able to accurately predict when tibbers comes to be able to zhonyas is something 99% of the community cant reliably do. (I know... I know... get gud)

What do you all think? do i just suck?

Tibbers only has a stun IF it is stacked up to stun, therefore you do have a warning the bar above her is at 3 then she will E, R to stun burst you. And it is a SHORT range thats why you play range to counter her completely. She can not get to you with out a dash or flash with tibbers which is why IF YOU CAN DIE FROM TIBBERS DO NOT GO ANYWHERE WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE ANNIE IS. LOL XD this is meant to be helpfull.

I love when people try to justify annie being a total bullshit champion just like the guy above me just did.

Even in my elo, plat 3 which isnt the highest, people still complain about annie here. Because really she is not a fair champion. She is 5x more brain dead than caitlyn is and i main caitlyn so.

As much as I hate annie suddenly bursting you down with no skill, its undenyable the champ is easily punishable. Yes she can insta kill you but only if you're in range, meaning if she flashes on you, she can be jumped on or ganked easily afterward, or just in general she's immobile and easy to camp.

Honestly, whenever I hear somebody complain about annie's sudden click and win, all I can think of is why the hell everybody is ignoring Amumu Malphite Orianna for that matter. I don't find what annie does much different from these who literally can instashot or instawin teamfights. Ori I'll respect as she takes a lot of skill but in the right hands she's no different, an annie with skill.

Um

I play lux midlane into her and she literally ignores the minions and just pushes me to tower. Not even fizz does that. Fizz still has to respect the minion wave, but Annie can solo just push me back tower.

I have to poke her from absolute max range because Annie can flash ult me and I die instantly. So if I get close enough to hit spells accurately it puts me within flash ult range, which will cause me to die instantly, although I could get a first item QSS in lane.

I had a few games recently where I laned against Annie's. I zoned them pre-6, however post-6, my annies leave their stun up permanently. This means I cannot get within flash-ult range. Otherwise I will die every 5 minutes. They actually just sit right outside my turret range and taunt me.

Jungler ganks can't save my lane.

Annie support should be meta.

I honestly don't mind her Tibbers cast, if anything they could just add like a weird half-second voodoo dance as her bear comes alive. What really gets me is that Tibbers regens health super fast, and if you kill Annie while he's up, he goes into insane mode and tries to kill you. Like, I just killed Annie while her stupid bear is alive, that takes some work, and now I'm punished and she gets vengeance? Her bear is too tanky to fight at early levels, and it's honestly a much better Sion passive.
