Coming back to this game after a year of being gone I have realized one thing; this game is going to die. And the reason I say this is because of the extremely high barrier to entry, and the primary hurdle being the ridiculous combos. Now, all the veterans of LOL might not notice or care, but if this game is going to continue to thrive it must incorporate new players. Unfortunately the extremely complex, hold, Q, right click, fuck your sister combos make it very difficult for new players to integrate into the game. Im no noob, but there seems to be no character left that doesnt require such extreme number of combos to seem realistic for an entry level player to pull off or even enjoy. Sure, keep the game a challenge to the existing player base, but if you do, there wont be any new players stick around long enough to keep this game a long term success.

This might be a little opinionated, and I might have missed a few, but this is a LOT of champions that can be new player friendly and are relatively easy to play.

There are plenty of champions that are easy to play and understand.

Although i agree that the entry barrier is WAY too high. So many smurfs are ruining the low level experience. Jungle is hard as hell as it is, and nearly impossible when you've got no runes and masteries. It's not fun getting stomped by smurfs every games.

I remember when i started, i would play vs new players too, i sucked, but my enemies sucked too so i had still an adequate gaming experience in which i'd lose but i'd also win a lot.

New accounts are expected to already know how to play, it's actually surprising to see a new player amongst the sea of smurfs.

Unless they find a way to filter away the smurfs from the new players, there'll be a limited amount of new players flowing into the game.

League of Legends is an easy game mechanically, it's more of knowledge of what all the champions do that's a challenge to newer players. If you are looking for games that require complicated combos, it would be either fighting games or high intensity micro games like SC:BW
