Why i'm ranked in iron 4

Why when i won second game of placements i was placed iron 4? I made it to 5/3 in placements and got to iron 1. My every win was with something like 15-0-12 and get iron 4. On This account i never played ranked before.

Last season on another account which again never was played ranked before i won 4/6 even worse and i got silver 1. I will be very thankful if samoene help me.

P.S Sorry for my bad english.

Because Riot is starting new players (as in those with no previous ranked games/MMR) at Iron IV as standard.

I'm assuming the wins you got in your placements would've boosted your MMR. So once you get going, you should easily get out of there.

They had to put someone in Iron because they didn't want to put the Bronze players in Iron. Don't worry, some of them will join you soon enough. Or you'll join them.
