so i had typed a good respons to this but there is no draft button so here is my ok respons sry

i think you'll like:

Trundle great dualist

Nautilus tanky with a crap ton of crowd control

Hecarim if you have a need for speedy damage and in more then one way

Irelia Riven for the effective stun and other plays

and finally Fiora for heals crits and slows

but i see you want me to pick 3-4 for you to try so:

for a start off id say Riven

for a more 1v1 aproch id say Trundle

and for late game carry id say Fiora

4th just in case you get borred im going to give you somthing you didnt list Gnar for the harrase and smash in other words "HULK SMASH!"

SHAQTHEBEAST1 votes

are they hard to play ? i am afraid of touching riven irelia and fiora cuz i am afraid that i waste the money and time cuz i cant play them

zacktootall1 votes

the only one of the three that i would say would be hard to play is fiora mostly becuase of her passive. that said i am not the most knowing of those three, of all your choices those are my least played why i recomended them is becuase i have played them and i see what they can do their just not my style, i will probable get back around to playing them........ eventually.

oh another champ i played top in s5 was vi i dont know if that is still viable though :/

you know what here is a better set of recomendations as it seems like i did a lakluster job last go

Trundle Nautilus Hecarim

Trundle same reason not change here

Nautilus great if you want to play a safe tanky top lane

Hecarim a real fighter if i have ever seen one as long as you have item 3071 and boots your good to build anything else you want on him

hopefully this will give you a easyer time of picking as the three ladys are intimidating to even think about playing for a new top laners like your self anyway if you have any more questions dont hesitate to ask.

Hey, Silver player here to give my terrible advice.

  • Nautilus Is not a really great top laner. He's got some decent, if not bleh waveclear but sustain wise will lose to most of the champions you picked. He's not a carry at all, he's a disrupter and you want him to stay in the jungle. His CC is insane and can keep an entire team down easily. He's got everything you'd want in a tank, just he lacks significant damage.

If you like keep the enemy team pinned then he's a go to, but you have to rely on your team to do damage as he cannot 1v1 most anyone unless they're low health or already potentially dead. He's just not able to carry sadly, but I wouldn't toss him aside since he's good for a team that needs peel.

  • Rumble is great top lane, and his sustain damage is exceptional especially once you start getting his cores. His struggles are trading against champs that poke often, but excels in champs that like to go in early aggression because of his spammable shield. You have to micro manage his heat gauge like no tomorrow and he's an deceptively difficult champ to play but has a rewarding playstyle and teamfighting. (I'd suggest looking into videos and builds and practincing alot before taking this champ into ranked. I don't play him enough to tell you how well he carries or not but that his team fighting is good.)

He does require getting a lot up in the enemies face and usually squishy if you haven't gotten things like Zhonya's or Guise, but can be a real powerhouse for your team.

  • Riven is pretty much go in and deal damage. She's all physical and packs a... slice? The only problem is that you have to manage her passive and cooldowns properly. It's easy to just do what everyone else stereotypes about her playstyle and just go hamfisted and win but there are some matchups that you'll get punished super hard for being all aggressive without understanding the champions trades. She's tremendously squishy if you go the all damage route but has the potential to carry hard and her bruiser build can't quite carry the her but her CC is helpful here and there. She's very good against teams that have a lot of squishy opponents and that you can delete in one combo. Target CC teams make it really hard for her.

If you want to pick her up and maximize her damage you'll have to understand her animation canceling. You don't HAVE to learn it, but it's probably one of the strongest qualities of her that allow her to do as much as she's able to (trust me it's not hard but constantly doing the cancel in the heat of the moment is not easy). Her biggest downside is that if you lose hard, you're fucked. Like, it's hard to come back from losing lane with her, and that she doesn't fit a lot of the teams needs in most comps.

  • Trundle Has great lane sustain and tends to counter a lot of melee champs because of both of said sustain (from his passive and ult) and Q AD steroid that also reduces AD of the champ he lands this move on. His ultimate also allows him to steal resistances off of the enemies tanks, so during a teamfight it's usually good to use this on the enemies teams biggest tank, making you tankier and them less tanky. A lot of his kit gives him good fighting power and his E (pillar) is great if used in choke points where you can trap an enemy or mess up their pathing (just be careful cause you can screw yourself or your team out of a kill or potentially get yourself / team killed from a poorly placed pillar)

I don't have much really to say on the champ, just that he has good jungling and laning sustain. He's not a great ganker or even peeler, but is able to reduce AD champs and tanks effectiveness in teamfights. If you like sustain trading then you'll enjoy him, however he's not exceptionally good at carrying.

  • Fiora isn't someone I've been playing much with the new rework so... I won't be able to give you anything worth while on her sadly. Apologies!

  • Hecarim is also someone I don't play very often and suck tremendously at. As a Hecarim player you have to be pretty risky a lot of the time because you can't be overly defensive or aggressive with Hecarim unless you're snowballing. Hecarim is the definition of snowball reliant an as such can easily get behind if he's not snowballing a lane or himself. His ultimate is very good in teamfights and the damage and fear it applies makes it exceptionally good. He also has decent wave clear and sustain damage, especially if he gets ahead.

Mostly his snowballing is the biggest factor and can carry early games, but getting behind is not easy for him and late game he falls off pretty hard (but can still be useful with his ultimate). I'd practice a lot with him before taking him into ranked since you'll be finding it frustrating being behind often if you don't get much practice in.

  • Irelia does quite well in 1v1s, but her early game isn't quite that great. She's got minor sustain (apart from her ultimate) and is able to outtrade when her health is below her opponents with her E stun. The E is probably the biggest thing you gotta take into account when going in, if you can land the stun portion before the trade you most often will come out. The slow on it is good but only for chasing. She can wave clear well with her Q reset and ultimate and is ridiculously tanky and able to ignore a lot of hard cc due to her innate tenacity.

She has very good late game power and naturally gets tanky making her very good for carrying games. However anything that can keep her off carries you will struggle pretty hard. She's a decent low level champ to pick up, but her skill is a bit higher than it appears. I'd pick her up if you like mid game spikes.

  • Swain's sustain damage (I realized a lot of your champion picks are sustain damage oriented) is definitely tricky to deal with. While not very good wave clear post six he's able to get some good harass out his his e + q. He is a good contender for top (though usually fits more in mid lane) if you need some tanky APwhen your mid lane is filled with an ad assassin or ad bruiser (like Jayce) and with his slow tether and ultimate sustain can make it difficult to keep melee champs on him. He can throw a lot damage all over in a teamfight and can be a pseudo-tank with the sustain from his ultimate, allowing you to get all the focus while you back line fires away.

His biggest weakness is mana (+ anything that applies grievious wounds) and you can easily dry yourself clean. You'll find teamfights just a bit difficult if your mana is below 60% and he does not fair too well against dps that is stronger than his sustain. I also don't know the quite the status of his carry potential but generally you can be hard to kill if you can keep your sustain up in teamfights. If you want to be a tanky, sustain, damaging distractor then you'll enjoy him.

I hope these were helpful in some way, I tend to ramble a bit but I hope they made sense for you. I can't really say any of them are for you (since I don't know your playstyle) but most of them fit sustain damage so it might be your cup of tea if you enjoy that kind of thing.

If you want to win play non mechanical champions. Malphite, garen, annie, pantheon and just stick to those and you will win more than lose more so if you played something like riven yasuo zed ect. Then when you can play those really good and work on farming and core fundamentals you can start learning the "harder" champions.

I play Nasus, Shen and Vladimir top. Out of those you listed I've done swain top(its alright, but Vladimir is better overall in my opinion)

I would pick trundle out of that list.

But, I would stick to Renekton and learn how to play him effectively, try different builds, runes and masteries. Become confident using him.

I got to level 5 mastery with him a while back and played a game with him yesterday against an illaoi top. It was a bit difficult but I could counter her by building armor and health and with the help of my jungler I could kill her.

When your playing against an AD top, try to go for resistances like armor and health. Reason being is because Renekton has very high base damages with all his abilities to begin with, especially when you have over 50 furry.

I've seen many go for damage early but leave them weak. I recall a match a week ago or so where I had a Renekton on my team vs a fiora top. He got his butt handed to him, by the end of laning phase I think we was 1/6. I checked his build and he had no resistance items. In that matchup I would have rushed a sunfire cape then go with a cleaver.

So when I play as Renekton I go for resistances first, damage second. It's how I play him.it maybe wrong but that's what works for me, so try sticking with him and learning him well.

Lastly, with the 8 champs you listed, its not about which one is the strongest, because even you do play the strongest champ out of the 8 you CAN be beat by someone with more skill.

I may have went off topic a bit, but stick to one champ and master them.(my opinion)

Trundle . He's the anti-tank, also does decent against carries due to his AD debuff.

He's also got alot of room for skill: try practicing screwing people over with your pillars. You can force a failflash across wide terrain by slapping your.pillar down on the other side, like the redside island at top. But beware his pillar deals exactly 1 point of true damage, so you can pull turret aggro with it.

If you don't like Trundle, try Vlad
