3/2 Surrender Vote isnt Majority Rules?

Now most game's and most things that you can vote for, is majority rules, Now let me put this into a situation.. The sore is 24-80, and 3 people on your team want to surrender and two don't. What should happen? i would think that Since majority of the game wants to give up i think the game should just end.. but no, two people don't wanna surrender so you need to go through the pain and agony To need to wait it out. Now i think that is wrong. please riot.. Fix this problem.

Surrender has never been majority rules. It requires a super-majority.

If the score is that bad. Just stay in base or chill in the jungle till the game ends. It won't take long

This. If you just go afk or sit in base you're going to get reported on top of having to waste your time sitting in a losing match.

3/2 is not majority when looking at this small of a voting pool. That said, the vote is supposed to be unanimous. The only reason it has a surrender at 4/1 is to prevent a single troll from extending games indefinitely.

Because two trolls who are duo queuing certainly wouldn't extend a game out indefinitely either, right?

And then three trolls who are trio-queuing, then 4 trolls? Why stop there. "Game should be over because I wanted so".

You don't see that many trolls all queuing up at the same time, and if you're with that many at one time you'll know long before the game reaches the point you can surrender at whether or not they're trolling.

The difference between my example and your extreme is that at least with only 2 trolls, the players who are being held back are actually retaining the majority. If by some unlucky circumstance you're stuck on a team that's full of trolls there's not much you can do but wait until after the game and report them for their behavior.

But the off chance that someone ends up on a team with that many trolls, effectively rendering the 3/2 vote pointless, isn't nearly as high as the chances of dealing with just two, and isn't worth the trouble that three people have to go through when stuck in a position like that.

...And the chances of dealing with two is at least that much again lower than dealing with just one. It is a rarity to get two people who aren't surrendering because they are trolls at the same time.

It's happened plenty of times to me, usually because they're buddying up down in the bottom lane. And again, even if the two people in question AREN'T trolls, they're still forcing three other players who are already demoralized to continue playing a game that is grating for them to keep attempting to play. Forcing three people to endure another 15 or 20 minutes of a match that they don't even think can be won isn't fair. Especially when it ends up in a loss anyways, whether because the enemy team was just too far ahead to come back from no matter what plays were made, or because the three people who are ready to give up aren't playing at their top potential.

If that happens I mostly just run around the map to farm for fun. I hate players that feed hard and want to keep playing a pointless game.

Honestly this is so true it almost hurts. Granted, if those two people really think the game can be pulled out they might very well be right. But with three people who's spirits are already broken ready to give up the match, those three aren't going to be playing at the top of their game anymore. They've been demoralized, and forcing them to continue playing the game is as torturous to them as giving it up might be to you.

The difference is, if you were to give up as well you wouldn't be wasting three other people's time as well as your own.

I think it needs to be 5/0 but since that won't happen I will accept if more then 1 person doesn't want to surrender then we can't surrender.

it should be a simple majority, I have too many games where things are so lopsided its pitiful and I cant go afk so an hour later the game ends as I predicted when at twenty minutes its 20 to 2, except at the end it 50 to 10 or 80 to 13 or pick any set of number you like that say my team is a bunch of people who have no interest in team play and just like trolling and feeding
