Leavers Affecting Ranked Climb

Summoners,

How do we feel about losing LP; losing promotion games simply cause another player decides to AFK or intentionally feed. I just wanted to bring this to everyone's attention that there is no system to compensate righteous summoners who wish to climb and improve their game. Imagine losing promos simply because a player decides to leave the game.

Personally, I propose we have some sort of reduced LP loss or tribunal to assess situations where promotion games are affected by cheaters, leavers or feeders . Especially in higher elos where the difference can move one from diamond higher or even the eternal hell that is bronze.

So let's get this discussion started!

-I mean id 100 percent love to see a LP reduction on losses when someone afks more importantly less mmr drop. Not a clue why it hasn't been implemented into the game am sure if brought to attention devs would discuss it

That's why we are here, as support told me to bring this matter to the boards. Thus, we should encourage other summoners to leave their opinion on this and have DEVs see this issue.

If this was added then when a team knew they were going to lose someone would just AFK every game and 4 people would barely lose LP.

It would get abused.

I get an actual rage quitter in maybe 1/25 games. Not a big enough deal to me

I think this kind of system should be monitored by Riot and a reduction of LP should be by request and on a case by case system. We do have a leaver system for consistent leaves but a program could be made to monitor teammates and duos to see if the system were being abused.
