Could we not have lock in be nessesary

I really miss not having to lock in. Not only is it easy to forget when it looks like you have selected your champion, but trying to lock in at the last second some times not work. I have locked in with a second only to have it not work. I understand the idea of it being a ready check. But is is really easy to forget and it the inconvenience outweighs any benefits seeing people can go afk during loading anyway. Please at least consider asking people cause I imagine that most people hate it just as much as I do.

How hard is it to click a giant orange button? Like seriously? The reason it was implemented was so that not only would people not just walk away from the computer with a pick they THOUGHT would be fine but ended up being horrible and needing to change it, and so teammates can actually sit and try to communicate before the game, and before if someone AFK'd in champ select good odds are they would still be AFK in the game and that caused a lot of problems. Either way, it is a GIANT ORANGE BUTTON, a 5 year old could do it i think some grown adults could do it too, just sayin
