Normal matchmaking.

Anyone notice a difference in matchmaking in normals recently this past month? It's been extremely strange to the fact where if I queue up alone I get into fair games. However when I queue up with one of my friends we're faced with ridiculous one sided teams. It's not always the case but at least 7/10 times. I checked on NA.OP.GG & it's ridiculous how one sided things are. Just last night when we queue'd up together we were facing against 4 diamonds & a challenger... While on our team we have 4 platinum players & a unranked player... How is this fair by any chance?

I get that it's just a normals but for me normals is where I go to practice the things I'm not comfortable pulling into ranked yet so it's a form of practice. Can't get really good practice in when our team gets obliterated 5 mins into the game.
