Hello everyone . I have a idea ....imagine if u could not only play ranked with champs that u own !! BUT U CAN DO THIS IF U HAVE ATLEAST A CERTAIN GAME OR MASTERY COUNT ....i mean imagine if somone takes 1st time urgot jungle and feeds so mizrebly and flames cuz he is boored and 1st time is his excuse (doesnt happen always ofc.) But still i would like and i belive everyone in legue of legends would love to know that your team mate didnt pick a champion that he/she hasnt played ever in his/her life in ranked . Soo my idea was , that if u want to play a champ in ranked u need to have 10 games or less/more depends on what ppl think or u think is normal or a 3rd mastery (would acualy make more use of the "nolifer badge than just a think ur team sees in ur loading border), but there , i think needs to be a thing that they shouldnt be able to buy champ and play him cuz he seen him good in lcs and wanted to play in ranked . This would prevent smurfing also and make the game a bit more chalanging + fair .....This is just an idea so ....^^ pls coment ur oppinion if u think this is a good or a completely redicilous idea .

I like this a lot. It doesn't take much to gain mastery level 5 on a champion and it would be nice for the integrity of the game in general.

The only con, which is smurf accounts could be remedied by linking accounts which is something a lot of people already want to happen.

No because I have 4 accounts, so this would suck for me and people like me.

You realize a large portion of the player base are adults with a full time job, kids, family, responsibilities, etc? And for those players, like me, I am lucky if I get 1 game/day in during the week and maybe an 2-3 hours on the weekends. That would mean it would take me like 2-3 weeks just to be able to play ranked with a single champion.

Sorry, but no thank you.

And if you 16 champs are for your main role? What if you get your secondary? Fill wouldn't be a viable option. To be flexible in ranked you would need to have mastery in 7 champs in your 2 main position and 7 more for support. :-P

Edit: you could shorten the list by only playing champs that fill multiple roles, but what if those aren't your fav champs? You also won't be able to choose optimally for your team.

This all sounds like a bronze issue. I've been playing some of my roster since season 1 and I've never actually put the effort into maxing out anybody else other than Trist or Poppy since riot decided to add that silly mastery system. And they were only "mastered" because I actively played them in ranked in the last 2 sessions

I have a nice pool of heroes I like to use, and I'm not interested in grinding mastery points just so I can play a hero I've been using since 2011. If anybody is a "problem" it's you.
