Master Yi in Aram... why?

I realize I'm most likely going to get hate on this since I'm sure Master Yi mains are going to swarm, but why is he even an option in Aram? Literally any game I end up going against a Master Yi he gets brain-dead stupid Penta's for spamming his Q ability. I know Aram is for the fun and everything, but it's so frustrating to be playing tons of different champions that actually take any skill to use. I have literally no problems with any other champ on the game-mode. Some are more annoying than others, but Master Yi is just ridiculous. It genuinely just makes it depressing to play against no matter what champ I'm playing as.

Does anyone else feel this way?

One gets similar comments about lux and sona and a few other S tier aram champs from time to time.

All you can really do is hope your comp either has cc for him, or your comp has some S tiers of your own who might be able to out carry.

If a champion is going to be banned in ARAM it would probably be Sona not Master Yi... but the thing is that ARAM is an unbalanced game mode so removing the strongest champions probably won't do that much other than just making the second best champions better than everyone else...

And playing wack-a-mole like that is probably not something Riot wants to do (after all they don't really put much resources into ARAM)

Yeah it all depends of your team comp. I personnally stopped counting the number of pentas i've got in Aram as Yi, and i don't even play Aram that often.

In fact i'm more surprised when i don't see a Yi score a penta in games in which he is. That's all he literally does, wait until everyone is low and dive in for the penta. I find heavy poke champions like Jayce or Ziggs way worse to play against.

yeah, yi is pretty bad, especially since he gets a nice heal after each time he goes in. zoning champs can be worse though, depending on your comp. if yi dies before he can get to you, thats about the best you cant hope for...

I think the main problem is, that League is (mostly) based on skill. In a 5 vs 5 match the team that has more skill or teamwork will win. But Master Yi is an exeption in aram. The only way a Master Yi loses in aram, is when the enemy team had enough luck to get a heavily cc focused team. If you only get 2 or 3 champions with cc, you might be able to stop Yi, but the other 4 enemy team members will then follow and you cant cc them anymore. I personally think Master Yi should be removed from aram, but that depends on the winrate. If the Winrate is "normal" there is no reason to remove him.
