The last seasson i was in bronze 5 and in this seasson I win 9 of 10 and riot put me in bronze 5 I don't understand the function of the first 10 games if they are going to put me in bronze 5.So it is impossible to climb silver or gold.

Mig891 votes^^ It's kind of a mean answer but it's the truth. You lose MMR at the end of the season so if you are close to bronze 5 youre still gonna be bronze 5. The placements are there to put everyone BACK from where they were last season. I've never heard of anyone coming out of placements at a higher rank than they were the season before.
Shuyin1781 votesWhen you do your placement matches, you only go down in rank, you cannot go up. So you were B5 last season you start B5 this season.
DarkRitual1 votesIf you are in b5 consistantly, you lack some significant mechanics. If you can figure out what you're missing, you can work on it and should be able to climb.

Those 10 qualifying games are a joke, the mean nothing...
Treeofwar1 votesthe 10 placements are to see how much to drop you by such as if you were plat 1 and you lose all 10 they can put you in silver 1 or gold 5 but if you win all 10 they could just drop you to like gold 1 plat 5.
