Melee mid laners it's a bad thing now ?

All mid laners that are range are destroying melees, what you guys think about that ?

melee anything is a bad thing according to riot.

thats why they balance keystones around ranged champions and supports/tanks who protect those ranged champions.

I think the Zoes and Veigars I consistently destroy as Mid Ornn have a different opinion.

Melee mids are obsolutely not weak lol. I consider them stronger than ranged midlaners atm.

They are not weak, but in laning phase you can easily win lane just poking with range autos and skills and he can be behind.

??? Duh, at lvl 2 they destroy you. Katarina lvl 2 can one shot, zed, you know him.

The thing is, these melee champs have crazy powerspike. Unless you want to nerf their powerspike by giving thema safer laning than sure. That happened to Ahri with Q movement speed and look as what happened. Her entire kit lost damage and many outplay potential partof her kit was removed.

Having damage allows for outplay. Having a less safe laning phase allows you to have damage.
