PETITION: UNLOCK ALL CHAMPIONS IN RANDOM GAME MODES

I've gotten out of ARAM and now ARURF games where in every game I see a Lux, Ahri, Syndra... it's getting absurd.

I used to think that it was just my bad luck when someone told me about the concept of an "ARAM" account. I asked what this was and was enlightened.

For those of you who don't know: an ARAM account is where you get to level 30 (or whatever the minimum requirement is) and unlock only a FEW champions to increase the chance that you get your Main in that game mode.

I think this is bullocks and the practice needs to be done away with.

Riot please: On AR game modes (including the beautiful URF), unlock the full pool so people can't abuse this any longer.

ARAM-only accounts completely ruined ARAM for me. I have every single champion unlocked and playing Trundle vs a team with Sona and Varus every single game is just bullshit. Make these modes actually ALL RANDOM. People with these ARAM-only accounts can go rot. Fuck them

I completely agree with you... but it's sad because it'll never happen since Riot don't give a f*ck about ARAM and every Summoners Rift addicted players complain about the whole "randomisation" concept, even on urf. I personally think that ARAM itself is a hundred times better by being more fun and strategic than normals and rankeds, but everyone else outside of us just want Riot's interest in randomised gamemodes to completely disapear for no reason

I maintain this does not occur nearly as often as people believe- it's nothing but confirmation bias. They see a champion strong in ARAM and scream that people must have an ARAM-only account. Unless you look at the profile and they successively have decent ARAM champions- you've got no case.

Furthermore, I maintain ARAM slightly nudges you towards champions good in ARAM on its own. I own all but perhaps 15 champions or so- yet I've borderline never had some in ARAM while I've repeatedly had others. I don't buy it being totally equal to begin with.

I dislike this idea and always will. I do not own certain champions because I don't want to play them, at all. I will, for example, never buy Shaco because I hate the champion- why should I be forced to play him? Riot doesn't state you need to own all of the champions to play the game- your own sense of wanting to have them all is what leads you to doing so. It is, frankly, not Riot's problem.

There is actually no point in a "random" mode not having all champions. Because, well, common sense shows that its not "random" if someone can decide what champions they will get at a higher rate than others. How this idea and logic has escaped Riot for this long is odd at best.

i disagree because of the effect this will have on actual new players. They are already bombarded with a ton of new things that they have to learn for themselves. The last thing they need is to have to play with 134 champs they've never seen before instead of the 10 free ones they just barely understand. Also, you do realize that Varus and Xerath were free 2 weeks ago, right? Any champs on the free list have a higher probability of appearing because everyone has a chance to get them.

The new urf mode makes me pretty sad. When I go into urf, I just really like to play champions that I don't play often, like Sona and Miss Fortune, and have a fun time with it. Going Sona mid isn't really a practical thing in normals, but she's possible to play there in URF. It's also nice to be able to ban certain champions if you don't wanna deal with them. But the issue with "aram only" accounts is why I started to play a lot less aram games as I got more champions, when previously I had more arams logged than normals.

Usually urf is either a stomp for either side but I much preferred that over everything being a stomp and random. Even if I'm having a shitty game, I'd rather be able to play a champion I wanted to play.

Riot we are still asking that it actually be random and not pseudo random with a heavy ability to be bias.

I don't want this. I have a pool of champions I like and play. I seen people complaining in pregame chat that they don't know how to play champ they got or don't want it (and therefore don't have it). "Who wants Yorick? I don't know Yorick. I go troll."

Better version is: have 80% chance of getting champion you own and 20% chance of champion you don't own.

I have hundred games in ARAM with my actual account. So far I haven't noticed the existence of ARAM accounts, but the fact I play so much ARAM has affected what champions I buy or don't buy to an extent.
