Champion Mastery wut?
I went 2/0/13 on Leona support and placed the most wards in the game, but only got a B+. I also had two tower kills. Most of the time I get an S or an A with worse stats at the end, what is going on here?

You are compared to other Leona Support players within a certain time span ... and related to them ... you were relative average ...

Not sure what mastery is based off of, but it more than likely is based on objectives like turret kills/assists, dragons, and barons. Basing it off of KDAs and number of wards placed would probably result in people either spamming wards in weird locations and chasing kills/kill farming; neither of which helps a team (obviously). That's why I assume mastery is based more off team objectives, but I could be very wrong.
It gets compared to other Leona's in a similar time frame. So even if you did well, compared to other Leona's you did slightly above average. This is why it is easy to S's on some champs, but other champs it is quite hard to do.
The game I played immediately before my score was 2/3/10 with fewer wards/min and the same amount of tower kills and it graded me S-.
I'm saying I played Leona in that same time span with an objectively worse score that got me S-.
