An Idea To Preserve Champions After Their Rework

Have it so that during champion select, you can select either reworked version or pre-reworked.

Of course each version will have slightly different models to differentiate between the two for easy game play readability.

This way, we can increase champion visibility (in terms of frequency a champion appears in a game) while giving it more than one role when a champion receives a drastic rework (Mordekaiser MORDEKAISER COUGH) .

This is also good news for the developers because you don't need to create a whole new champion to implement your ideas. It's a win-win situation!!!

Alright let's go back to old evelynn where she had her stupid reduced tower damage passive her ult that healed for her opponents % max hp and not to mention her stun god if you wanted to quit league of legends now you have the reason to do it.

I think in the case with Mord, they were trying to keep most of his kit intact, which they could do better in the duo lane. They never said anything about changing up his lane assignment. (And was Nid significantly changed by shifting her into the Jungle?)

And riot also seemed to think that they could not keep his solo lane presence without a complete overhaul. Which would have been a greater chance than swapping his lane assignment.
