veigars infinite ap scaling

i know for a FACT that everyone knows those champions that almost no one plays but when they do pop up in a game they ALMOST (emphasis on the almost) always win and most of the time they win because theyre not seen often and people just dont know how to counter them but then theres those that are just a pain in the ass. prime example, veigar. i have noticed an increasing popularity of picking veigar mid and the only problem i have with veigar is the fact that after a certain point in the game his ult becomes a delete button and most people will tell me to build mr or something but building heavy mr items isnt always the best option on some champs. all im saying is what if his q gave him 0.5 ap per kill instead of 1 ap additionaly he could lose like a quarter of his stacks on death, maybe even less cause the passive on his q is what people know veigar for. also do something similar for nasus because if nasus does well in his lane, by the time teamfights come around he literally just walks up to the adc, withers and deletes. as i have said before with my posts these are just ideas

hes not getting his oodles of AP from his Q, hes getting it off assists, +5 ap per assist for having rank 5 into Q. he doesnt even need to damage them, just get the assist. so just for partaking in team fights its just as good as constantly last hitting in lane with Q, which would otherwise OOM him and kill pressued from his enemy laner.

it used to be difficult to get +250 or more AP in 30minutes, now i can EXPECT to get at least 200 even in a losing lane with minimal Q farm.

veigar kills 1 or 2 people in a team fight then probably dies, now hes just being a team player and getting not 5 or 10 ap per fight, but 25. whats that, i ulted and walked away? my khazix came to clean it up to ignite? i died anyway? yay 5 more ap!

(even if he averages 10 assists, which is low for a mid laner, you expect them to have much more team participation, thats +50 extra ap he would otherwise not have)

Paragraphs please.

Thing that has made him where he is, is the fact he gains AP on assists now. But they didn't reduce the AP gained, even though he'll obviously gain more.

It's not rare to see 10-20 assists in a normal game. That's 50-100AP. From this change alone. On top of his farm and own kills. Which he'll have a lot of after enough stacks.

Halve the AP he gets from kills/assist and it should bring him back to balance. Assuming he wasn't sleeper OP all along.

i know he gets ap from assists but thats why i said he should lose some stacks on death

The reason those rarely seen champions tend to win is because those of us that play them actually take time to get good at them instead of just switching back and forth between weekly 'OP' champs.
