Deplorable Re-Placement Trials

Ok, I just spent last week pushing really hard to get a better chance this year in my placements. After being in elo hell with all the afks, angry feeding, refusing to help others or people just flat out playing in teams to force a loss... I made it to Silver V with a promising chance of moving up.

Now, You've not only "reset" (if you want to call it that) the placement trials and after winning ONE game (literally the first game I've played after the update) it says I've been put in Bronze V.

Come on guys this is lame. Please fix this or please give everyone an "actual" reset to the placements.

And YES, I am aware that some of the responses to this post are going to be the predictable attempts to provoke and be negative but it would be nice to have an actual CSM or moderator respond.

I feel your pain. I literally just went from Silver IV to Bronze III after WINNING this "fixed" placement match. There's no way this is accurate. Thats with 11/14 games won this preseason. >.>

id be thrilled if i got placed in bronze, id get numerous free games until i climbed out ofc. but silver- low gold would just be hell again dealing with bonobos.

Im honestly surprised that its 2016 and people are acting like Rito knows how to make a true mmr system. Your mmr stays with you forever and never resets like in other games.

I'd like to add, I won into Silver V while having to go up against people in silver AND gold who had formed "pre-made teams."

Seems a little bit unfair to just throw people into the lower rank after one game (win or lose) when you've made them persevere through trials vs people not even in their rank.

Please address this, I'm not asking for much and it seems like I am not alone in this.

Re-Doing placements is fine but the "one game and it really doesn't matter win or lose your still going down" thing is really lame guys come on.

If that was the case why even have us play another game for false hope.
