Should Master Yi get a rework?

i dont know about u guys but MasterYi always been that champ i loved when i was a noob but hate now. and not because he is op "over powered" but he is boring. He is a easy champion with hardly any mechanics and it always made me mad. so i just showing what i would do if i reworked him give me your oppinion

Note this is not to make him weaker just funner

MasterYi Passive Double Strike After every skill your attack speed increases by 10% this can stack 3 times

Wuju Style Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 Mana Range: 350 Master Yi swings his blade in a cone shape in front of him with blinding speed, dealing physical damage to multiple units in its path, while simultaneously creating a wave behind it. Basic attacks reduce Wuju Style cooldown. Master Yi swing his sword in front of him , dealing 25/60/95/130/165 (+100% Attack Damage) physical damage this also applies your marks for e if hit by 2nd wave , Basic attacks lower the cooldown of Wuju style by .5 second. to understand what i mean by 2nd wave see darius q that outer ring is the idea

after a comment i thought to turn his q to a real skill shot with a range 850 MasterYi send a narrow wave of energy stopping after hitting its first enemy, if that enemy die the wave would pass though them with increased power "not adding any stats" of the wave also extending the range by 75, the damage of the ability does not stack but range those.

my point with both of the q i made is to keep the wave clear for yi

Meditate Cost: 50 Mana Range: Self Master Yi rejuvenates his body by focus of mind, restoring Health and taking reduced damage for a short time. Master Yi channels, restoring 20/35/60/90/110 (+50% Ability Power) Health per second for 4 seconds. This healing is increased by 1% for every 1% of Master Yi's missing Health.While channeling, Master Yi reduces incoming damage by 30/45/50/60/65%. Also applying a thorn affect returning 5/10/15/20/30% to only monsters and minions. This damage reduction is halved against turrets.

other idea for w Lighting Reflex Range self

lighting reflex while heighten yi senses and will allow him to dodge the next few skills or basic attack will only dodge aoe skills if yi is 75m from edge will cause him to dash out of area im not adding any stats on him cause im bad at scaling XD

Ionian Blade Cost: 40/50/60/70/80 Mark 2/3/4/5/6 Range: Self Master Yi becomes skilled in the art of Wuju, passively increasing his Attack Damage. Activating Ionian Blade marking them for death. Once reactivated, the mark will trigger if yi stop attacking them for 4 sec the mark will fade away, causing a sec of bleed per mark. He basic attack target while skill is active and marks them for death. Once reactivated, the mark will trigger, if yi stop attacking them for 4 sec the mark will fade away, while active basic attack by yi will stack Passive: Grants 5% Attack Damage. Active: Basic attacks deal bonus 20/30/40/50/55 true damage, if Ionian blade is reactivated cause the enemy to bleed for one sec ,stacks 6 times

Alpha Strike Cost: 100 Mana Range: 700/800/900 Master Yi dashes to target area in a line with blinding speed, dealing physical and magical damage to any units in his path up to 5 times with in 7 sec Master Yi charges forward, dealing 150/250/350 (+60% Ability Power)(+100% physical) magic damage to anyone he strike, this can cause a critical strike, while active passive for each dash, also if Ionian Blade is active will apply marks to each target hit

These are of course op stats but this isnt wwhat it will actually be it will be a way more nerfed version

You are basically asking: bring AP YI back. This is not an hate post, I will just analyse your kit, hoping you will realize why it's so broken:

Passive: This is the only skill that's fine.

  1. Q: Live - PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 25 / 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 (+ 100% AD) Your - 25/60/95/130/165 (+100% Attack Damage) + 100/125/150/175/225 (130% ability power) no need to make any actual math, the damage is more than twice of his live, and also it's mixed, so your enemy can't even build safely (well AP would still be a lot stronger)
  2. W: - Live MAX 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+ 30% AP) damage reduction: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70% (half against turrets) Your - 20/35/60/90/110 (+50% Ability Power) damage reduction: 30/45/50/60/65% (half against turrets) at this point it's clear it will be a lot stronger by just the sheer amount of healing you will do but you also get 5/10/15/20/30% damage returned to the enemy (you should say if it's physical or magical), and before anyone says anything: in this rework, AP Yi is way stronger than AD Yi, so you would build him AP 99% of the times.
  3. E : Live - 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (+ 10 / 12.5 / 15 / 17.5 / 20% AD) bonus true damage + 10% AD when not on CD (So also when active); Your - Grants 5% Attack Damage (passively) marks enemy (max 6 stacks), 20/30/40/50/55 bonus true damage (first activation) + 100/125/175/200/250 magical damage + 10/15/20/25/30% per mark on enemy. This is insane, too strong, too unhealthy.
  4. R: Live - 25 / 35 / 45% extra MS + 30 / 55 / 80% extra AS. Your: Range 900 (Max) 150/250/350 (+60% Ability Power)(+100% physical) x 5 (max) can critically strike, applyes 5 marks of E. This is even more insane than his e, it's just so broken and so wrong.

That said: your kit will still make Yi a point and click champ, nothing will change other than his kit being extremely broken and uncounterable (and AP Yi >> AD Yi). So sorry, for me, this rework is a total no. Hope you won't just take this as a hate comment, but as a constructive feedback to help you understand what's wrong with it (even though I could just compared numbers, I couldn't do much more since both live Yi and your rework are point and click champs with just steroids and self-casting skills).

I agree that he could use a rework, same as many of he older champs like nunu and warwick.

But what you have suggested is a jax 2.0. You built a champ that is incredibly hard to build against with ap ad and true damage built into his kit.

It is as if you are trying to build the perfect champion to use rageblade.

XD ik what i put is op but idk how riot scale shit. plus with like the true damage i was just keeping text they already had and the base numbers was just a reduced version of orginal. i dont want u to focus and the stats but the skills them self it will make him funner to play if he is op they will nerf the crap out of him but i just want someone fun. #Shots_Fired summoner 7

There's no reason to rework Yi though. So many other champs need help first.

Not sure if people are downvotin because they think Yi is OK as is, or because they're afraid Yi would get %Health True damage if Riot reworked him...

EDIT: also, giving Yi AP scalings is probably a mistake. If he ever gets a rework, it'd be better to get rid of the healing ability then to bring back the nightmare that is AP Yisus.

then get diamond with him. Also, the current Yi was a rework that was released in 2013.
