What if Aatrox's E cooldown reset every time he hit a sweet spot?

As we all know, Aatrox is not in a very good spot rn, and that's because his SoloQ performance is hindered by his Pro-play presence. So how do you fix that? simple, up his carry potential and lower his reliability. Pros like Aatrox for his 3rd Q CC and Towerdive potential with ult. So nerf his ultimate %HP Revive and maybe even make his 3rd Q sweetspot smaller. To compensate, I have a very quirky idea that I feel should at least be considered by someone on the balance team (if they even see this post): make his E reset when he hits the sweetspot of his Qs. This way he gains very good chase potential, sort of like how Olaf hits you with an axe and chases you down, it buffs him and also adds a degree of skill expression is his kit. Apologies for the word vomit, I just wanted to share this idea with Riot.

I like what you are trying to aim for, but that's just gonna make him more pick ban in Pro than he was when he was good. The fact he has one ability that can cc 3 times is already strong.

This would be way too oppressive. If you hit your first q you would be able to hit the next two. Very easy to E+Q on Aatrox. If you land one, you will just dumpster immobile champs with constant resets on your e.

I mean, Olaf has better lifesteal than Aatrox tbh.

And Aatrox has hard CC and a revive, which is why I compared them in the first place

not that one IS the other, but that they are alike.

Meanwhile Repertoir throws up a new change for him to his R and man does that spell Spear of Shojin Riven. Not mad for him making an attempt at a change like that, but his kit is just too similar to Riven's that any change he gets its almost gonna be compared to Riven no matter what.

That would be a terrible idea... imo most 'reset' abilities are problematic. On someone like Aatrox who has no real resource management and has access to obnoxious amounts of cc and what not, he's just gonna be a monster with that. Land 1 sweetspots, land ALL sweetspots. They can only hope to fix him in an upcoming light rework because his Q is just so overloaded that it gimps everything else he has.
