Should we have a "Wood Division"?

I think Riot should add a new ranked division, below Bronze (I.E. Wood, Copper, ext.). To help make it easier for Bronze players trying their hardest to get to Silver. I know that I try my hardest each game, but I get players who don't know how to play or they throw the game. I think it's unfair that we Bronze players should be punished for the players who really don't care about, nor how to play ranked. I hope Riot will decide to make it a little more easier on Bronze players and do something.

If you are ever in a Bronze division you CANNOT get out of, and you believe without a shadow of a doubt that you don't belong there, create a new account. Your journey will be much shorter, as if you believe you have the skills to get yourself out of Bronze, but you can't.

You just might place in Silver on your next account, or in Gold. But you may never actually earn your way out of Bronze, that's just how it is. This ain't being negative, it's just saying it how it is.

As sad as it sounds I actually think that's the only way to get out of Bronze at this point tbh. Goodbye to all my lovely Janna and Soraka skins );

Lead Lead would probably be the most appropriate name for a sub-bronze tier.

It's a really weak metal. It keeps with the metallic theme of bronze, silver, gold, and platnium - as well as the convention of naming specific types of materials, where wood itself is incredibly unspecific.

Also lead is toxic and to heavy to carry, like the people that belong there :P

As for actually creating a tier to tell people they suck and should be ashamed of themselves - seems like a bad business idea for Riot. Everyone starts at the bottom, making them feel like shit because reasons is pretty iffy. I'd probably use Lead more for tier lists of fictional characters or items than something to actually throw real people into.

I don't think I want an actual Bronze guy with an actual Bronze mind to think he has the same potential as a Silver. If Wood division was ever made, even in Silver 1, they don't even know how to click the lantern & other similar noobish stuffs.

I think a big part of why Bronze is so hard to get out of is that so, SO many players start ranked ASAP when they hit 30.

When I hit 30, I did 125 ARAM wins (to learn an array of champs), and then 200 normal wins. When I actually did my provisonals, I went 3-7 (had 4, FOUR AFKS IN FOUR MATCHES 4!) and still ended up in Silver V with that low score. More players need to just focus on really learning the game before they leap into ranked and ruin it for others and themselves.

I'm not saying I'm pro or anything for being Silver or that my method of 300+ wins before ranked is the right/only way to do it, but it's definitely something players should consider.

If you took the bottom half of B5 and split it out into its own division, it would have zero effect on matchmaking. Ranks and LP are just window dressing on top of your hidden MMR, and they have no effect on matchmaking. All you woukd do is make it take longer for those players to climb, since they would have to win more promotion series.
