Draft Pick Bans

So lately I've been wondering if League of Legends needs to increase the amount of bans available in Draft Pick. I see raising the amount as a good way to increase

STRATEGIC DIVERSITY

The more champions that are added the more I've always would like to ban. Probably the number one complaint I've read about increasing the ban amount would be an increase in the pre-game time. A few different paths could be taken, such as keeping the total time for bans but reducing the individual time per ban. Another idea would be to allow each summoner to lock in their own pick within an amount of time, possibly reducing the amount of time it would take to get into game.

Something a friend of mine brought up to me was the idea of having information available during your ban phase based on the enemy team. In competitive play, teams like CLG and Cloud 9 can make smart ban decisions based on who they are playing, they know that if they face Froggen, an Anivia ban that would normally be seen as silly or a waste, could be seen as a very good use. It would be interesting to see, in regular people's competitive play, a way through revealing hidden information to use your bans much more effectively. One example, with keeping most information hidden, while banning Blue team can see Purple sides top three most played champions. An example with much more information given would be if blue side could see each individual summoners most played champion, perhaps a percent of games played as X champion vs y games played. In this example Blue can see that Purple team summoner 4 has played 400 games of Evelynn not typically a champion that is banned, however banning three junglers not evelynn would have meant blue side wasted all three bans.

TLDR; Should riot increase bans and/or possibly change the way banning phase is handled.
