Protest Riot's new Autofill policy to prevent bot lane noobs feeding/trolling queues everywhere. If Riot is going to force me to play outside the two roles I choose then I just won't queue at all until it's removed.

You have no need to protest.
Autofill only activates when you're in higher elos ( High Plat -> Challenger ) or you're playing at a time where NO ONE else is queueing ( Mostly around 12-8AM)
This also doesn't apply to you since you're a jungle main, and junglers aren't a very popular role.
If you were a mid/adc main, then you'd have a right to be slightly peeved at autofill, but again, it shouldn't apply to you.
This is a bs policy to autofill if there's low population. Be patient and wait. Riot is caving to these whiny people who complain about queue times.
uhm what? Autofill applies only in higher elo - definitely not in silver. You do not need to fear anything, MAYBE except you are playing during times when very few people play
