Draft Pick in Norms is just awful. RITO PLZ gimme back matchmaker.

Firstly, I would like to say, I have enjoyed and am currently enjoying the recent changes to Warwick. These have also made me more salty about not buying Urfwick when I had the opportunity. Regardless, I would like to give feedback regarding this constantly changing way of matchmaking.

I remember when matchmaker existed. I enjoyed the traditional matchmaker and it was removed "because of q times." I refuse to play blind mode, because it is even worse than the current model of draft mode. When you removed matchmaker, draft mode was in a state where you were able to select 1 role and it wasn't awful, but it did not guarantee in the slightest that I would get the champion I wanted to play. You then decided to make it so it is now 2 selected roles. So now I am not only not guaranteed the champion I want to play, but I am also not guaranteed the lane I want to play, which will undoubtedly make it impossible sometimes for me to select the champion I wish to play. You then decided to instate forced autofilling. Now I am put in whatever position you feel necessary to make the q go faster.

This model, draft mode, does not work for many reasons. If I do not get the role I wish to play as, every gamer including myself automatically are not having as much fun as when we did receive the role we wanted. This new model highly encourages dodging, because people are tired of playing as the support. When you give me and the average gamer the "middle finger" called mandatory autofill, we do not take it cheerfully and are highly encouraged to dodge or to play without the intent to win. When someone dodges, the q timer which you feel is so necessary to lessen is then lengthened repeatedly. I do not know if you know how it feels to q and get your role and champ, then someone dodges. Then do that again. Then get mandatory autofilled into as support. It feels horrible and just yesterday I heard someone say this exact thing then "F this game" and proceeded to dodge. Hitting the gamer with a stick, when we dodge because you screwed us only encourages us to just drop this game. You should not be surprised because you have done this.

I would like to submit that this needs to be fixed, and q times is and should not be your priority. You have removed dominion. Ok whatever you lost a lot of audience from that, and then put in this joke version of it. People do not want a new version of it. They want the old version to play "hide and seek" and "find the teemo." Whatever to this though. You have removed matchmaker where I was able to select my specific lane and my specific champion. I and thousands of people like me do not care about the q timer. I would rather wait and hour for a match that I want to play than play an hours worth of matches that I don't want to play. You have kept blind mode, and this is my work around.

Re-instate matchmaker, and pair it with blind mode. I frankly have no idea why this was not done to begin with. Fix matchmaker, AKA allow a fill feature where it auto puts you in whatever role needs it the most and then let you select a champion for that role and matchmake regularly. Also put up what roles are needed the most like you had done with draft mode. Perhaps even put up what champions are picked the most to discourage picking those champs for q times. Give us q time estimates. Allow for the combining of host q's with other q's that are only needing that 1 role. Perhaps even remove host q's and make it match and then everyone says yes or no as to whether they want to q as this composition, if that works better. As far as pairing the modes goes its very simple. Have pre-made q's of matchmaker lock in that they are ready to play a match and then have Blind mode paired up when necessary against pre-matchmade teams. Just have the standard Blind mode picks and then enter the game as normal. The only difference is matchmade teams will have already picked their champs. Instate regular dodge bans as you would have in blind or draft mode, when and only when matchmade teams state that they are ready to be matched against another team.

For the life of me I love this game and I am tired of watching it attempt to kill itself with these new ideas of matchmaking. Please act on these suggestions sincerely from a good customer of your company.
