Is it possible to have an "expand minimap" feature added?

The map in-game just seems so small. In World of Tanks, for example, there are hotkeys to make the map bigger or smaller. I keep the map at likely twice the size or so of the default, otherwise its difficult to see whats going on/keep tabs on it. If I could do that in League as well, I'd pay a hell of a lot more attention to the map. As it is, its just this little square tucked away in the bottom right (or left!) corner.

I find it especially hard to look at it and still concentrate on what I'm doing now that I've upgraded to a bigger screen (1920 wide). Maybe it's just me though.
