The PBE Juggernauts nerfs are pathetic

This are the currently juggernauts nerfs on the PBE:

Darius •Decimate (Q) heal per champion hit reduced to 12% from 15% •Decimate (Q) [Maximum heal increased to 36% from 30%] •Decimate (Q) mana cost increased to 30/35/40/45/50 from 30 at all ranks

Garen

•[Killing Garen will no longer make you the villain - source.]

Mordekaiser •Armor per level increased to 3.75 from 3.5 •Base armor reduced to 20 from 24.88 •Harvesters of Sorrow (W) has several changes: ◦W can now be self cast ◾[Will not do the "when they touch" damage but will do the reactivate damage.] ◦[W's damage zones can no longer overlap for double damage - source.] ◦Movement speed noted as "up to" 75 instead of just 75 ◦Health cost increased to 25/30/35/40/45 from 0 ◦Reactivation damage increased to 70/95/120/145/170 from 50/70/90/110/130 ◦% heal on minions lowered to 25% from 33% ◦Max number of units drained reduced to 2 from 3

And they are a joke; some random small changes (yes changes, some of them can't be called nerfs really), which aren't even aimed to fix the largest issue with each of them; Extreme survivability + high damage in the late game. Darius heals even more then before in team fights, Garen still gets way to much free stats/damage reduction, and mordekaiser can still one shot you while almost building full tank.

Darius

Darius nerf is at least focusing on the right part; his healing. But while his laning phase took a small hit (like a really small hit), he will even heal more in team fights. Just to make this clear I compared Darius Q healing strength, to the strongest healing ability in the game, Mundo's ult:

Level 3 mundo's ult; 60% of maximum HP over 12 seconds, 45 sec cd (with 40% cd reduction)

Darius on 25/50%/75% health hitting 3 champions; 36% of his missing health, 3 sec cd (with 40% cd reduction)

  • 25% -> 36%*0.75 = 27% of his missing health every 3 seconds
  • 50% -> 36%0.5 = 18% of his missing health every 3 seconds
  • 75% -> 36%*0.25 = 9% of his missing health every 3 seconds

So during the 12 seconds of the Mundo's ult, a Darius can heal on respectively 25/50/75% of his maximum health, a maximum of 108%, 72% or 36% of his maximum health. A Darius around half health can heal more then Mundo's ult... (the break even point is around 60%). And Darius can keep healing while Mundo's ult in on cd. And Darius can heal this much on level 1 (Mundo has to wait till 16, poor Mundo)

Darius needs a large nerf aimed on his multi target fighting; or completely remove it (just a flat %, can't be increased if it hits more champions) or a very low starting %, without a cap (like 5%, to a 25% maximum). Darius shouldn't be able to do more healing then Mundo during his ult.

Garen

Garen's change is atleast nice; you can again kill him in lane. But it's just a band-aid for a broken leg really. The problem with garen is that all his changes has drasticly increased his mid-game power, which was already his strongest point by far.

First off is how his W passive (courage) has been changed; from a flat 20% extra stats, to a 0.25 extra armor/magic resist per unit killed to a maximum of 30. While both will achieve the same amount of extra armor/magic resist, the time needed to get those has been drastically lowered.

  • 120 minions has to be killed to get the 30 extra armor/magic resist; in average this will be achieved between 15 and 20 minutes.
  • Now his old passive; needed 150 bonus armor/magic resist to get the same effect; That's 2 full items (sorta) with armor and 2 full items (sorta) with magic resist; that's late game, especially if Garen went Black cleaver first (his core item). (so 30+ at least, prob closer to the 40 minute mark).

This has changed an already very strong mid-game champion, to an unkillable mid-game champion; the free armor and magic resist is just to much for most champions to handle (almost nobody gets void staff or last whisper as first/second item)

This together with the extra damage of the new Villain mechanic damage, and the more spinning on his Judgement (gets the 5 black cleaver stacks a lot easier), with only a small damage nerf to his judgement, has made garen a mid-game moster; an unkillable mid-game monster. Group up with a Garen around 20 minutes, and the enemy can't really do much (if they aren't far ahead); focus Garen and die to the rest of the team, or focus the rest and let Garen rain destruction on your team.

To me the best way to nerf Garen is changing his W and push it more to the late game; Change it back to what it was, or lower the amount of armor/mahic resist per minion (needing like 200 minnions to get to 30). Together with a nerf/change to the Villain mechanic (Garen can kill most AP/AD carries before the silence ends if they are the villain) and Garen should be in a good spot.

Mordekaiser

Mordekaiser problems are in a complete different league then Garen and Darius. I'm sorry to say but this rework is one of the worst ones I have seen. His whole kit screams randomness to force him in the bot lane; A spell that couldn't be self casted (changed in this patch), full exp from killed minions, and a pet drake (since Bot participates in most dragon fights). All aimed to make Mordekaiser a duo laner. I completely support the concept of trying to introduce a non ADC bot lane, but giving gimmick abilities just to accomplish this is not the way. Mordekaiser needs a second rework, removing his gimmick 0 counterplay abilities (xp passive/drake pet) and focus more on a creating a champion that can be played in duo and solo lanes from a well designed kit then throwing gimmick passives on a champion and calling it a day.

Morde needs a full rework honestly so he can be balanced in a solo lane.

That said, can we stop pretending Darius is going to hit 3 people in a team fight often, he needs to hit 3 people with the blade of his axe all at the same time. That said just change his heal into a flat heal, its easier to balance

I still have NO idea why they made these 4 nightmares anyway. During the Tank META it would have been awesome, but now... I dont want to be the Villain any more :(
