I don't really see anyone building a 
spontaneously for that little buff to the W when she's AA based and 
falls just short of 100.
So what would the build be if you were gonna try and do it?
The point of Kai’sa isn’t to hit all 3 spell upgrades. You’re supposed to pick and choose which ones. Guinsoos made it so it could easily be done, and frankly, would be kinda broken on her. I’m glad they nerfed it, although some champions may need looking into such as Kayle. But yes, if you want AP, build AP. You can’t have your perfecthybrid, although if you really wanted to, nashor+gunblade still exists.
