WHY REWORK AHRI RIOT

Zombielegend99··1 votes·1,090 views

why rework a champ that was perfectly fine to play just to make her not play able at all like she has no movement speed to be able to get away early game you literally have to either die or waste flash just to live from any enemy that can stun, snare, root, and pull you like the its so trucking dumb know like i don't even counter lux anymore cause i have 0 movement speed to get out of her slow and root. you literally just made ahri a useless champ to play know and I'm glad I'm going to be uninstalling your game

You mean like every midlaner ever? Ahri's still a lot safer from it but this is a really bad argument.

know like i don't even counter lux anymore cause i have 0 movement speed to get out of her slow and root.

Ahri never beat Lux pre-6. Once you get ulti though that's how you dodge her slow and root.

I'm an Ahri main in high Diamond and the changes made her feel capable of actually killing targets idk what the hell you're talking about.

The part about no movement speed isn't even true. Ahri still gets a movementspeedbuff if she hits 2 spells on an enemy in a timeframe of 1,5 seconds.

So it actually requires Ahri to hit something now.... Oh my, the horror .....

I agree that the rework is really dissappointing because it took one month and all of us expecting much more creative changes instead of removing her Q bonus ms and putting it's awful version to her passive. Her new passive is worthless now but atleast she got her charm amp back, W is slightly more reliable (still does laughable damage though) and she has slightly more carry potential now.

She was supposed to lose the safety from her movement speed early game. That doesn't make her unplayable at all though.

This rework is less than perfect for sure, but it's not unplayable.

but...you now have a more agressive movement speed if you hit your target...

How is 20% considered aggresive? With old Ahri you could throw Q backwards to chase your target when your ult is down but now you are a sitting duck when you don't have ult.

That's sort of the point, her Q gave her too much generic power. They chose to limit the movement speed so that they had room in her budget for other things like the W improvements and the charm damage boost.

I don't like how they forced her spell rotation to be more binary, but to complain about the Q movement speed when it was in the state it was in before the rework is silly.

ahri is literally the safest, most non-interactive "assassin" to ever be made. 20 minutes of me and ahri 1shotting waves with a single ability then trying to roam isn't fun

the one thing i keep having an issue with is the picture for q when the life steal is active.. because its exactly the same as when it was on passive :( my brain keeps thinking its my passive and it screws with me when im trying to see if my q is up in intense fights LOL
