Riot decided a while back that they did not want Harrowing tied to Halloween. Their reason boils down to the fact they wanted to be able to have a Harrowing event at any time of the year. Since Riot made this decision, hilarious as it may seem, we have yet to enjoy a Harrowing event.

thx for the info i remember the previous year there was nothing but this worlds 2018 and that made me so upset ..... and now from what i understood there is gonna be a harrowing event but not on halloween right?

I do not know when or if Riot will host a Harrowing event this year. There is no guarantee that anything they announce will come to fruition regardless.

An example (at risk of going off topic), they released a mini rework of Wukong on the PBE for testing with an official announcement that it would hit live servers soon. That was back in April. The changes have yet to be made official and likely never will.

yeah but they won't even come up with this kind of event anymore.... i don't know if its just me but i like it more that xmas event

if the event isnt out by Halloween 100% im going to commit suicide. I have been wanting to die for so long, and if they don't release the event in good time, then thats the last straw.
