Make the "Resolve" Tree Viable for Top and Jungle, Not Just Support

As the name implies, the "resolve" tree should be about endurance or perseverance; it shouldn't be outshined in this regard by conqueror, but too often it is.

If you build one or two tank items and have conqueror on a decent number of champions (like Yi, Garen, or Jax), you are able to survive better than a full tank item, "resolve" tree user. The "resolve" tree is so underpowered in terms of survivability that supposedly "tanky" champions use the Precision tree way more often, e.g. Mundo, Volibear, and Garen.

The flaw comes from the first two rows. They pigeonhole "resolve" tree users into teamfight tanks or splitpushers.

Aftershock doesn't provide enough defense for a 1v1 fight that lasts longer than a few seconds, and grasp of the undying is overshadowed by conqueror in terms of survivability, making the "undying" part a misnomer. Guardian is only... okay? and that's only if you are with a teammate constantly, so supports, NOT junglers or top laners.

As for the second row of the "resolve" tree, most champions can't benefit from shield bash. Font of life only benefits allies, and demolish is only good in terms of pushing. Literally none of these help survivability for the vast majority of champions.

If you want to have a "support" tree, cool, ADD ONE. Don't gimp Jungle and Top choices by co-opting the only available "tank" tree.

I feel what they should do is just make revitalize more effective on self heals no matter what, swap shield bash with second wind (but nerf second wind if it's too useful up there), and make bone plating have a lower base defence, but give it a bonus hp scaling to make people actually want to have it past 10 minutes.

Because as it is now, taking taste of blood and ravenous hunter secondary is just better on almost any melee top fighter when it comes to the laning phase and the mid game.

Runes in general have FAR too much offense, reward snowballing or require kills to stack, and if all that wasn't enough there are far too many that are way too efficient at converting damage (or kills, looking at you Triumph, the single best pure healing rune, which is still somehow out classed by Conqueror) into healing. On top of all this, the actual defense/survivibility runes are, well, quite frankly utter fucking shit. They are worth a paltry fraction of the gold value of offensive runes, and even the supposed "tank" runes like Aftershock, Grasp, Demolish, etc are only good because they are far more about doing damage than y'know, actually fucking surviving it, like any sane or sensible person would genuinely want on a goddamn tank.

The tank champions at the top of the meta bot lane are ahead BECAUSE of Aftershock and strategic buffs thanks to Riot. All the other primary options in the Resolve tree aren't doing better bot lane.

It's also only a certain type of tank support, which is those that have engage. Nautilus Leona Blitzcrank

Alistar takes Aftershock as well, but you have to sweat in order to make plays. Half the time Nautilus throws out an anchor and it hits someone.

The only champion in the top 20 most picked supports that uses Guardian is Braum , and his win rate/play rate is pitiful.

Engage supports are tanky but they pack such a hard punch to enchanters, mage supports, and ADCs. That's on top of the damage you're going to be eating from the enemy ADC. So getting caught by one means you're wasting flash or dying. You can't easily harass them with their engage up. That's why they're popular.

They also make the lane so much harder to gank.
