What do the Rioters think of the current state of Syndra?

Throughout the whole Q&A as well as many other posts, I haven't seen Rioters comment on where they feel Syndra is on the balance spectrum. Ever since her Q nerf she's obviously been a lower tier mid-laner, and not really a viable pick. Riot was obviously THINKING about buffing her with some very interesting changes on PBE a month or two ago that were quickly removed. They then said they would starting working on Syndra next patch, and all we got was a mana buff IIRC. Rito pls.... bring back

Personally I don't think Syndra is as terrible as people say she is. I think she's pretty good once she gets 1 or 2 items. Her issue is, she gets INSANELY weaker as the game goes on. Which is why I stopped playing her awhile ago.

I feel it's quite the opposite. Late game she does fine just position well. It's her early game that took the hit from that nerf. That's the thing, once she gets 1-2 items she alright, but getting there is disgusting.

I recently played with a Syndra that was hard-raping everything.

Her Q into stun into Ult + Thunderlord's Decree was destroying all opposition. I'd say maybe she needs a slight nudge to become balanced but not much.

Syndra stun is actually very predictable and easy to dodge if you see the way shes positioning herself. It's just shes so underplayed nowadays that people probably forgot/haven't learned yet. I will admit that it's a fast projectile, but that is balanced by the predictability of the ability.

Of course it's predictable, it's a theorically 5-man stun.

But you're right, it needs to be buffed slightly... compare to Jarvan's stun/dash which is very similar (Setup ---> Stun) but a lot faster.
