Can we get a legit update on Fiora's rework?

Last I heard of it, it was "...still in the works...", but can we get more than that?

Who is in charge of her rework?

When will it be open for discussion from the staff?

How much of it is complete?

How much of it isn't complete?

Does her proposed kit now have any CC? Escape?

What from her current kit will be kept? What will be scrapped?

Something? Anything?

Fiora's being actively worked on right now, both in terms of gameplay and art adjustments. She's not one of the next updates out (those'll be GP and MF), but will probably be one of the next updates after them.

On the gameplay side the guiding pillar's remained 'Grand Duelist', with abilities focused on dueling enemies, with speed and timing emphasized. Single target damage and mobility are likely to remain her strengths. She'll probably end up with a bit of situational CC and a bit more disengage than at present, though in exchange have a somewhat less guaranteed combat pattern (e.g. we've been testing a Q dash that's free targeted, rather than certain to hit once cast). In terms of existing weaknesses we expect she'll continue to lack AOE power and will still be a non tanky melee damage dealer. More details/discussion to follow closer to her release of course.

This thread makes me so happy! Especially the comment from Riot. I rarely ever see any comments about Fiora, so thank you Riot.

I just started playing her not too long ago, and have decided to main her. I see many people play her in ranked, and she snowballs very quickly.

The one thing I hope they address is her reliability. All feast or famine champions should be reworked IMO. Fiora, Yasuo, Tryndamere, etc. Either you fall behind and become a burden to your teammates because you're so weak, or you go lane to lane overwhelming them and forcing them to come together just to fight you off. It's not interesting game play, but it can be nice for climbing.

I hope they sacrifice the cheese so she can have a higher skill cap and make more interesting plays. I do like that she requires quick reflexes and timing. However she is the grand duelist, not the destroyer. Mindlessly cutting down the enemy team after you get a little fed is fun at first, but you quickly get bored of champions that do that. Holding your own when you are countered is one of the hardest things to do as Fiora. Ganks are scarce on top already, but sometimes even that isn't enough.

Situational CC would be amazing on her, or really anything that helps her become a more well rounded champion is welcome.

I'm also hoping that with this rework we might get a new skin as well? I can dream I guess.
