when u play udyr with the classic skin he still has some quotes containing the words "summoner" , wich is wrong beacus riot removed the summoners and the institute of war, is this a bug or jsut neglected by riot?
"Only you can hear me, Summoner"
"Summoner. your darkness beckons" (easily confusable with salad bar or some burger, which is what I always hear)
"Tactical decision, Summoner"
etc. There's probably a load more I can't think of.
I think we're still Summoners, it's just that there's no Institute of War anymore and no formal place in the lore for us. It's so they don't have to have a reason for new champs to join the League of Legends.
it's an oversight. Nidalee and Lux and a multitude of other champs do the same thing
The game is not canon. Nothing that happens in there has any kind of relevance to the actual lore.
the removal of institue of war really confused me regarding the summoner-chamipon interaction.But still alot of other ones were removed while some only stayed. And also i think that the removal of institue of war was pointless, if u may explain why did they do it, beacus i keep reading that dev blog but i cant understand the decision and the reasons of that decision.
