I agree with you. League needs more variety. But you have to consider that old champions that have barely been updated since league started, need to be reworked. Ever since the new rift, the style is changing. The old clunky original champs just don't fit in with it at all.

Remember old Taric when he was on the new rift? It looked retarded; While Nunu really doesn't need much of a visual rework (maybe a little touch up on the resolution) his abilities are really outdated.. Like, very outdated, when compared to league of legends now.

I've been playing league since it started. I loved it all these years and I still do. But If league has to change then you're gonna just have to accept it and hope Riot does well.

......But back to the main point, yes, I would love if they made new very unique champions with cool ass back stories and lore. But in my opinion, before they make new content for the new rift style, they need to smooth out the older champions so that they will fit in visually with the new world of Runeterra. I think it'd be awesome to have everything up to date and the champions balanced, that way when new things come out it will always feel fresh and new. I know it's a tedious process, waiting for them to work on things, but if we stick with riot I believe that it'll eventually get to the point where everything fits in right and it's gonna be great. You know what I'm saying?
