How to get Lux in TFT?

Really simple question, I just had a game where someone had a 2 star Lux and I was wondering about how I would be able to get her, since she does not seem to show up in the shop or the carousel. Funny thing also is that the guy also had a 2 star Zed... and I didn't even have a single tier 5 unit in my shop in the entire game. Only got a Yi right before I lost on the carousel. Is it maybe a thing now that you get higher tier units in your shop the more you win/the more HP you do have left?

You do get her in shop, higher tiers come the higher your level

You cant tell me that the other person got 3 Lux's and I didn't even see one. I was just one level under them.

one level can make a difference, though 2 star lux is rare. possible they used neekos too

If you get to lvl 8, lux has a much higher chance of showing up.

even if you get lux her base origins are random. so you have to pray to rng she has an origin you'll want. example i got an electric lux when my comp had no eletric champs plus electric lux is terrible since she's a long ranged unit you don't want dying instantly so she all her short ranged eletric procs won't do anything.
