If you are kicking ass make sure you have a ward in river. If the enemy walks up at you, it's a gank. Back off. You don;t get enough wards to keep river warded so when vision goes down, chill a little bit. Some lanes are hard, ban Cait. Sometimes you can't farm w/o geting poked. Sometimes they grab you. Back off and farm under tower. Practice last hitting in custom games. You should be able to get over 85 cs by 10:30 or more, 100 is amazing. Learn how to last hit under tower with no AD runes or items. 2 tower shots and 1 auto for melee, 1 auto 1 tower shot 1 more auto for a ranged. You can add me if you want I main supp and I see all the struggles. You will be vs vastly superior ADCs in ranked.

Don't. Play Jungle instead and use your ADC as bait. You can be 0-10-0 as an ADC but for someone reason everyone still targets you. Good for a fed midlaner wants to go in. Imagine being fed on any lane and seeing 4 ults go off on your 0-10 adc. That's a free pass right there man

ADC is about CS, doing as much damage as you can.. and most importantly.. Never die. If you die, something is seriously wrong.

Go into practice mode with no runes, masteries, or items. Practice last-hitting. No abilities, just basic attacks. Don't worry about hitting X/minute, just practice doing it at this point. Then do it again with runes and masteries, but no items or abilities still. Then start buying items. Start with a standard first purchase (Cutlass, BFSword, etc) and practice some, then a single major item.

This will help you get better used to the damage you can do with attacks at different stages in the game and laning phase.

  1. Find your adc. Don't just play an "op adc" just cause. There is no pressure in the beginning you're not trying out for the LCS. Just find an adc that complements you. Adc is a very stressful and annoying to play so you need to find an adc that you will enjoy playing even when the going gets tough.

  2. Cs/last hitting. This is important for an adc if you can't last hit you lose money and losing money means it takes longer for you to get your items. The best way to learn is going into practice tool; and basically do what others have said to do, but tbh I never did that. Its pretty boring, instead I just watched people play and then played. The best way to learn anything is to keep doing it. Find a friend or friends and duo/group into a normal game and just play. After sometime you'll realize how easy it is to cs/last hit.

  3. Positioning. This is also very important. You should always be in the BACK of any of your tanks, divers, or supports; so they can negate any CC going into the teamfight from you. This will help you get your ult off to kill or damage as much champs during the fight as possible. An adc should NEVER be the front line; you are very squishy and a sneeze from the enemy team can kill you. When you see a diver, let's say a riven, is running at you either you run closest to the person would can peel for you (a Support or Tank) or you Kite her as best as possible. This is easier on adcs with mobility and self peel Caitlyn Draven Ezreal Lucian Vayne XayahTristana Sivir (Honorable mentions because they are not really played bot lane, Quinn Kindred Graves ). Adcs with low mobility but have attack speed steroids can always try to kite, but would need some peel from teammates to survive the burst of an assassin or diver...etcAshe Jinx MissFortune KogMaw Varus Twitch

(P.S this is my opinion please don't flame me if I am wrong on with adc belongs where)

  1. Kiting. This is another Important thing for adc. Just like what I said in my positioning paragraph. Kiting is easier when you have self peel and mobility, and if you have neither attack speed steroids can help. This one I can't really explain well, but Here's a video that can help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wq4RCSH32OU

  2. It will get frustrating this is why I said in the beginning just choose an adc you'll have fun playing or even several, but I prefer if you started with one or two and work your way up. You'll have teammates who will flame you. Enemies who would make fun of you. You'll be targeted almost always especially if your mid laner isn't the fed one. You can be 0-15-0 and STILL be targeted. Being adc can SUCK sometimes, this is also why you should take a break and play a different role. I prefer support, as support you can watch other adcs and either learn from them and rage at them.

  3. Watch videos/steamers. My past time is going on my friendlist and watching their games, or watching someone like Imaqtpie. You'll find yourself learning something even if you never realized it.

  4. Last thing is Items. http://www.mobafire.com/ go to that link type in which adc you would like to use and study. Don't blindly follow a guide just study. When you see any of these champs Darius DrMundo Soraka VladimirSwain Please don't forget to build this item 3033 When you see this team comp (all ad) Yasuo MasterYi Zed Lucian Janna Build Some form of armor When you see this team comp (all ap) Swain Viktor Varus Evelynn Zyra Build Some form of Magic resist When you see this team comp (CC for days) Galio Gragas Morgana Ashe TwistedFate Build item 3140 into item 3139

That's all I got. No I'm not diamond, I'm just a simple plat 5 player who is a OTP Miss fortune, but I know my role well enough to make it from B5 to Plat 5 in one year just by doing what I've told you.

Good luck [slayer-jinx-catface]

Help your support ward, one of the best things you can do. Leaving the base with 75g? Buy a control ward. It's much easier to play the lane if you can see those ganks. This goes for any lane.

Find your champions. I would say 2-3 that fit your playstyle. Mine are Jhin / Ashe and after that I have another 5-6 I play at a tier below. If you learn a champion enough you'll be able to play it well even into bad matchups and you'll figure out what you need to build on them in various situations.

Learn how to position. It isn't your job to focus on hitting the enemy ADC, it is your job to stay alive and do damage to whoever you can safely hit. The main issue I see with several ADCs is they want to wander by the enemy tank just to hit a squishy then they just get CC'd down and die.

Learn to kite as soon as possible. This is probably the most important skill you can learn alongside CSing. Make use of attack move ( the A key ) so you don't need to precisely click a target and risk moving a direction you didn't intend to. In the options you can have the attack move target the enemy closest to where you click so it can make kiting much easier to pick up.

Don't be afraid to pick up a defensive item. You need to do damage, but you do exactly zero damage when you are dead unless you are Karthus and to a lesser extent Kog.

If you pick after your support in draft try to pick an ADC that you play well that goes well with their pick. Seems like a no brainer, but it can help out a lot until you are very comfortable with your picks.

Last thing I can think of is take each ADC into the practice tool as they reach the free rotation and figure out the range of their abilities. It makes it much easier to play against anything that you know the ranges for. You could do this for supports as well if you want that knowledge. May seem silly, but it's pretty helpful to know.
