Reasons to play Darius?

I'm genuinely curious to know if there are good reasons to pick Darius. I honestly can't think of any...

Because Dunking someone is one of the most satisfying things in the entire game.

But I feel like thats not the kind of reason you were looking for.

He is an excellent lane bully, he can decimate a tank by stacking his passive on them and then dunking them, he can be tanky while still possessing the ability to execute someone, and he has the potential to chain dunk people in fights if all goes well.

Those are my legitimate reasons to pick Darius.

I love Darius. The Dunk Master is really fun to play... but carrying with him is so damn difficult.

I disagree. If you are fed as a Darius, build just some damage then tank it up. Arrive late in fight and ult ult ult ult ult for Penta

Pros: -Lane bully -Dot damage -High kill potential, especially with his passive + summoner 14 -%armor shred -Recent buff keeps him relevant late-game -Variety of itemization paths -True damage execute -Shitstomping in lane is fun
