Hi community. I hope u have a nice day So let's start I'm playing lol for three months then I found my blue boi is so fun to me but it seems he's really hard to play sometimes I think my damage sucks I'm so weak at early game and I can't beat any champion 1v1 (except adcs) So I want to know how to get better at him and what combo do u use for damage most of the time

I haven't played much Ryze almost at all this year, but I'll give you the limited knowledge I have. In general, it's pretty normal that you don't win a lot of fights in the early game. He's meant to get stronger as the game goes on, being a monster to face 1v1 or even in team fights late game.

For combos, I don't remember the specifics of how his runes work but I think the Q>W>Q>E>Q is a good one for dueling/going for short-ish trades. Also, Q>E>W>Q plus an auto at the end is good if you're facing a melee champ, so they can't get close to you. Another, more risky one, is Q>E>E>Q>W>Q. That last one is harder to pull off because you have to wait for your e twice, but I'm pretty sure that's the combo that gives you your shield. Like I said before, I'm not much of a Ryze player at all, so it would probably be best to check out a combo guide or something on YouTube. I hope I was at least somewhat helpful, though.

I don't play ryze so I have no advice for you, but I wish you good luck, and hope you master your blue boi (:

With Ryze you want to constantly push your lane, so go for E,E,Q and clear your wave. This also usually damages the enemy laner. Keep this up (being mindful of mana) and you should have a relatively easy landing phase. From there roam and find people to either:

Q-W-Q-E-Q (Damage) Q-E-W-Q (Damage/Melee Defense) Q-W-E-Q (Damage/Light Defense) Q-E-E-Q (Teamfighting)

Not smart. He has very little mana at the start of the game. You'll go oom too face if you rely too much on pushing with your abilities like that and make yourself helpless to a counterattack or a gank. And with low AP early on, this likely won't even kill the way and you will miss a lot of CS since your opponent will already know you used up all of your abilities.

It's actually better to use the E on a minion that is about to kill a minion, so that you only need one E to get multiple minions, since it spreads hat way as well. You want to get as many CS with your auto-attacks as you can so that you don't waste your mana all willy nilly. Mana is everything to Ryze and he starts off with almost none of it.

Always push the wave, yes, but you have to do it smart.

He's a late game champ, farm up, don't feed early.

And don't have high hopes for your ult in soloq. Its basically used as a weird escape if you can get a moment to yourself, or a slightly faster rotation after a won fight. Its almost never a good idea to ult into or too close to the enemy team.

My personal fav build is item 3070 > item 3027 > item 3003 with Phase Rush and item 2422 The boots are a big deal because you won't be upgrading them for WHILE so the extra 10 ms is huge.
