You select mid and the game actually lets you go mid, but then someone dodges and you get autofilled jungle. I think someone should put an autofill protection after a someone dodges; I don't mean that i hate autofill, but hate the fact that your experience could be ruined because of someone else's dodge.
When someone dodges a lobby or declines a ready check, the fill system will likely activate as the player who dodges or declines creates an empty spot on a team that needs to be "filled". The players who wait the longest in queue are the most likely candidates to be filled.
The only exceptions to this are players with fill protection.
So, if someone dodges a lobby or declines a queue, you can drastically reduce the possibly of being filled by refreshing the queue.
I mean, in either case, you are likely going to wait 5 or more minutes just to land a lobby in which no one dodges. May as well just reset the timer.
