Practice Queue

Many will look at the title and instantly criticize the idea, but if you take a minute to think about all the games you had where someone on your team did very poorly because they barely knew their champion, then this would have been where they would have gone rather than normals, or god forbid, ranked queue.

Players in normal hate those people who have no idea how to play the champion they chose, but bots aren’t always good practice. Especially in the case of top laners where its unrealistically a 1v2 or 2v2.

A practice mode where no IP/XP is given and isn’t counted towards any statistic would eliminate that issue by giving those players a chance to play a champion they aren’t used or have no experience with. It would also have the benefit of having a laid back community as well since everyone in the game would be learning their champion. A no reward system would also keep away those who only play select champions who would try to abuse those trying to learn.

Yes, custom games could work for this however you would still have the issue of those who would play only select champions in order to get the IP/XP for the win.

Thoughts on the subject? I think this would work pretty well in helping the league community.

Riot literally just came out with a statement today saying they are working on a practice mode.

I'm sorry for the late reply. Practice mode is literally useless for anyone who wants to practice against people. It might as well be the same as playing with bots in a custom game without the ability to invite friends.

"single-player training mode to practice mechanics and map movement, but we’re currently not looking to develop a multiplayer training tool for organized team drills or pro-play specifically."
