How Do I Get S Rank Support?

I am aware of the fact that creep score plays a big part in grades for other lanes, but what are the specifics for supports? I just went 3/2/46 with Taric and the grade I got was only an A.

i am not entirely sure but i would assume for tanky supports it would have to do with how much you have contributed to the team by objectives taken, damage soaked up for your team, kill participation etc.

for utility supports i would say more along the lines of cc landed, heals given, plays made and again kill participation and objectives taken.

i believe i have gotten an s rank on nami cause i landed a large amount of bubbles got a lot of clutch waves and heals and kited the enemy team a lot allowing for more objectives to be taken across the map and so on.

There's no way the system can calculate your clutch healing and awesome bubble-landing skills, however for sure the fact that you nailed those gave you a bunch of assists and helped your team win, which is very valuable in the calculations.

surprisingly enough the system uses the amount of skill shots used vs skill shots hit and heals vs low hp. it is possible although it may to factor into the calculations for ranking, i am in coledge classes for videogame programming so i know it is possible on a basic level. such as i threw out 3 bubbles in 2 minuets and hit 5 targets so i got 2 double bubles and one single or some such. its nt that dificult but inputingthat into a formula for ranking may be strange.

I've gotten an S on gnar for going 10/10/14 but i landed a large amount of multi player ults and stuns, plus soaked up damage, along with objective control. (yes i know gnar isn't a support but my point being i got a horrible KDA and farm but still got S rank due to objective control and cc landed)

When I used to play getting S on Soraka I really felt it was 85% kill participation, 10% deaths, and 5% junk.

If you are there for the kills getting assists and involved in alot of the team kills you will get an S.

The system is not the best when it comes to supports for sure. Tanks I am sure fall under the same category as well as heroes that can fill multiple roles.

Last time I checked the score system gave you a grade by comparing your performance against other performances of players on the same champion. How does it take your build path or role into account? 99% chance it does not.

If you want to get it by playing a good support:

low deaths (ideally less than the average of your champ) tons of assists (ideally more than the average of your champ) good kill participation % high participation in objectives (towers, dragons, barons) placing & killing wards (though I don't think this weighs heavily, it is taken into account, so better do it right)

If you want it the easy way and could not care less about playing support correctly:

awkward amount of kills (read: steal some kills, generally a minimum of 3 to get above the average of your champion) build damage if your pick allows it (Lichbane Sona, full AP Morg, etc), the system values doing damage (ideally more than the average of your champ in that role) consider zz'rot and/or banner to get CS without being present to farm a lane, thus getting more cs than the average insert champ you are playing here as support and boosting your score on the same train of thoughts, if playing a mage support it should be easy for you to snag a decent amount of cs after the laning phase when sieging, pushing, or trying to protect a tower, thus boosting your score because "omg such cs he must be a GOD ZYRA SUPPORT!!!"

Alternatively, you could pick a champion no one actually plays support, since the system will have virtually nothing to compare you to, if you do good you should get insta-S rankings.

Thank you for the effort to address my question, I will take this into consideration.

I have found that the best way to get a solid S on a supp is to have lots of kills and around 100 cs

I do not believe that creep score is a contributing factor.

I recently just started play Soraka support, and I have about 10 games and have gotten an S in 3 games. I think this is what contributes to the S after the 3 games

  1. How many assists you got.
  2. How many deaths you had.
  3. How many wards you placed and destroyed.
  4. How many time you ping (like asking for assistance, on my way, or ping objectives like baron and towers)

Hope I helped you! :D
