Ranked Games Pick Order

Hi there! I'm just asking a quick question in terms of tournament games since I don't have much time to watch the livestreams of LCS/LCK/etc.

Is the pick order REQUIRED to be Top, Jungle, Mid, ADC, Support?

Thank you for any responses. Have a good day

It's not required, but it is the best pick order in terms of team building.

Top sets the pace of whether you'll have a tank/bruiser/fighter. It can go either mid or jg at this point it doesn't matter, but they play off one another. Depending on intended picks jungle will pick a champ that works well with both top and mid. Mid is also another pace setter being that they can go ad/ap/assassin/utility. ADC goes next so they can pick a good champ into the enemy comp and that will work with their own comp. Support goes last to pretty much be a check for what the enemy has and what their team needs.

when watching pro matches the order will always be top, Jungle, Mid, ADC, Support.

but they do pick champs for each other. So top lane might pick vayne. then after everyone picks they will trade it over to the adc.
