Rakan has no counterplay

Now when rakan was announced i was pretty skeptical about his R+W combo now it's been quite a while since he got released and i'm still wondering how hasnt gotten nerfed.I mean his lane is kinda weak but you can remove both his passive and his Q and it wouldn't make a difference. There's only 3 ways you can escape his engage combo either be over 3500 units away from him at all times, have a tahm kench near you so he can eat you out of his combo or have both QSS and Flash up and cast them in a quick succession to hopefully escape it. But realistically you can only use Qss+flash to consistently dodge his combo but i don't think using 2 really important cooldowns to escape a low cd ult is healthy counterplay

Rakan is fairly balanced actually. his Q is the only even remotely reliable source of damage he has and the heal earlygame is fairly decent. His R W combo has multiple weaknesses, such being that for one you Need to dive so deep that you are out of range for your E to escape, second, using your CC in such quick succession means you have nothing for an Extended fight assuming your team does not manage to finish the fight in less than 5 seconds. Then ontop of it, Rakan for his W Needs to be fairly precise, his W is surprisingly predictable once you get used to it and the delay leaves just enough time to barely walk out of it with just your base movement speed alone. Rakan compensates with his strong Combo by sacrificing diversity. Either you are utile as fuck, or a cc bomb. but rakan's balance lies in that he cannot be both.

With literally every second champion having a mobility spell in their kit and people usually having a brain (not all standing on one spot against champions like Annie, Malphite and Rakan) I would have to answer yes. He has good counterplay.

We are talking of a champ that build like a janna and is meele ...... Said all.

He is a solid pick for sure but i think the AC nerf will be enough of a nerf for now.

As a Soraka I just drop my silence/root on my feet/the feet of whomever he's targeting. Takes him time to knock-up, stops him from flying back to teammates, landing a Q before he hits the ground again slows him enough to hit him with the snare. That's no issue for me. Yes, he is/can be strong. No, he's not overpowered.
